The 5 Stages of Consciousness Evolution: Vishen Lakhiani

The 5 Stages of Consciousness Evolution VishenLakhiani

Introduction

We may often wonder that Spirituality & Consciousness Evolution is the common goal behind all our individual goals. At a certain stage, we question the world around us. This questioning is rightly explained by Vishen Lakhiani in his invigorating article, ‘5 Stages of Consciousness Evolution.’ While growing in life we are required to think beyond general conventions about happiness, work, religion, culture, and various other aspects of life. The more inner strength and perception a human develops, the more he is empowered, making his own rules that benefit him and society at large. It isn’t that easy, neither for the individual to forge on the new path nor to explain to the near and dear ones, the changes one is going through in the process of Consciousness Evolution. This is where the understanding of the 5 stages of Consciousness Evolution comes in handy.

The 5 Stages of Consciousness Evolution

Level 0: Early man
The early man was a hunter-gatherer. They were not different from animals, but they were intelligent animals. They learned how to dress, how to hunt, how to gather food, and how to do farming. But language played a pivotal role to transform early man into modern man.
Watch our video on Ant Philosophy to learn about fortune making ideas from one of the smallest creatures of Earth:
Level 1: Modern man
Level 1 is based on Humanity in the Modern world. These days we live in two different worlds:-
1. Physical world: It is based upon the absolute truth. Like what a Sun is, what a man is.
2. Cognitive world: It is based upon ideas, like a cognitive world of religion, culture, or social practices, which are purely man-made. Vishen Lakhiani estimated that the vast majority of human beings (approx 95%) exist at Level-1.
Level 2: The culture hacker
At this level, we question the belief of the cognitive realm and start to make our own rules. We question everything like work, love, happiness, religion, and culture. We can make our own rules, mission, purpose, and our vision.
Level 3: The State of limitless
When any person enters the state of limitless, they feel something different. At this level, we know our reality and take steps to understand who we are.
Level 4: The God mind
It is a mysterious state, words can’t explain it well. Very few people alive today can consistently perform in this state.

Correlation of the states with your Personal Growth

Within each level, the tools we use for our personal growth are also different.
In Stage 1 - Modern Man: In this stage, we may start to show interest in goal setting.
In Stage 2 - Culture Hacker: In this stage, we will see that our thoughts are transforming into our reality. We can do meditation for the effective completion of this stage.
We’ve progressed as human beings in terms of our physical ev
In Stage 3 - The state of Limitless: In this stage, we are above the normal goals, and new goals are set when we are tuned in to a higher source.
In Stage 4 - The God mind: In this stage, we feel purely connected to life and all parts of life.

Conclusion

Vishen Lakhiani’s steps are simple and easy to grasp starting from Level 0 to Level 4 – Early man, Modern Man, Culture Hacker, The state of limitless and the God Mind. People from different walks of life, walking on the path of Consciousness Evolution, ascending through these stages as defined by Vishen, wholeheartedly agree that at each stage the preparation, tools, and environment are entirely different giving way to gradual step-by-step progress.
In conclusion, Consciousness Evolution and human development go hand in hand. The material pursuit, thinking pattern, and growth largely depends on how a person evolves in his life over some time. For some, the pursuit of happiness is as Modern Man, and for others; the state of limitless leads the way. How quickly and persistently we step up the Consciousness Evolution is a matter of passion and vigor.
