Introduction Selfless service can be defined as a service performed without expecting anything in return let alone the result or award for performing it. It is generally performed for the benefit of other human beings or society. In the Hindi language, it is called Seva which means 'service'. It refers to the selfless efforts done for the welfare of all. It includes the act of a person who invests time, money or even imparts his/her skills to others. True selfless service includes helping the whole of humanity and not just your family, given freely and motivated by a strong internal desire to help others.
