Three feet from gold

Never give up Never quit

We generally give up when we face tough situations in our life. So today we will discuss never give up attitude. This story is about a boy who went to the West during the Goldrush. He does not know anything about gold mining but he knew that he wanted to get rich.
Gold Rush: Goldrush is a new discovery of gold or sometimes accompanied by other precious metals. Major Gold rushes took place during the nineteenth century in Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, and the United States.
The boy took money from other villagers and bought some machinery to start mining. Initially, he found gold and made some profit. But as time passed he faced challenges in mining the gold. He dug for weeks but nothing came out and he made losses. Ultimately he gave up to the pressure coming from other villagers for money and sold his machinery and gold mine. He paid all his loans and started a new job. The person who purchased his machinery and gold mine had invited a gold expert to analyze the situation. After analyzing the mine, the gold expert concluded that there's a very big gold deposit which can be found just by digging three feet more. The deposit was so big that it made its buyer a billionaire.
When this news reached the boy, he became unhappy. Let's identify the major mistakes of the boy:
never say die quote
1. Never ever give up: Boy tried for a few weeks and then lost the hope of getting any gold from the mine. This was his major mistake and similarly many times we used to lose hope of getting our project executed, achieving our goal or acing our exams. Whenever we feel that few things in our life-giving us challenge then we must try to come back with more thrust. During the moment of giving up, we must think about why we had started that project and what was our initial intention.
2. Don't succumb to the pressure of peers: When villagers told him to sell all his equipment and mine then he listened to them. Boy sold everything and came back to his village and lost the chance of becoming a billionaire. Similarly, we also listen to our peers so much that we succumb to the pressure coming from their side. Here we must understand that many people don't bother about our challenges and the rest of them become happy if we lose our hope.

3. Reach out to the expert: The second buyer of the mine immediately invited a gold mining expert. The mining expert had done a proper analysis of the mine and made the new owner a billionaire. This is the role of our mentor in our life. We all must have that mentor in our life who think about ourselves and guide us whenever we are in a tough situation. Here many people will tell that they don't have any mentor in their life and it's not possible to get one. There is one more method, we must read the biography of successful people like Andrew Carnegie, Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi, George Washington, etc. Napolean Hill in his book explained how he visualized the presence of these famous personalities around him. When we know about their character then we can think of how they might have tackled that particular situation.
Let us imbibe never say die attitude in us and start our journey towards success.
