And what if science, spirituality, philosophy, music, mathematics and ancient wisdom are all approaching parts of the same mystery from different directions? These are some of the ambitious questions at the heart of Infrequent Frequencies, Rare Resonance by G.E. Poole. This is not a conventional book about spirituality, nor does it fit comfortably within science, philosophy or psychology. Instead, Poole deliberately travels between these territories, asking readers to consider possibilities that may challenge their existing understanding of consciousness, morality, suffering, human development and even reality itself. Perhaps the best way to approach this book is through its own underlying philosophy: don’t simply believe—investigate. It's really true that when we see a person's success then we cannot see her life struggles. Today Kalpana Saroj is the owner of 3000 Crore company known as Kamani Tubes, she is also a successful builder, social worker, and a great entrepreneur. She had won the Padma Shri award from the Government of India for her contribution towards the welfare of society. Her life story is not so sweet and she faced so many challenges in her life.
She got married at the age of 12 years with a person of higher age. Her inlaws were very bad and used to beat her on a daily basis. When her father visited her house and saw her bad condition then he decided to bring her back. She tried to start her studies again but her neighbors and classmates started asking why she had come back again? This made her the victim of stress and she decided to take her life by poison. She drank poison but doctors saved her. On that day she got her new life and decided if we can die while working then why not live while working. She asked her dad to get her a job but she was not educated and hence didn't got a job. She decided to go out of her village to explore job opportunities. She knows the art of sewing but on the day of her interview, she got confused and failed and hence the job owner provided her a job of cutting threads. Now her search for a job culminated in Mumbai and her first salary was a mere 2 Rs per day.
There's also saying that "if you have two options, one is to get drown in a sea or other is to hold a plank and swim for thousands of mile then you must choose a plank as there will be a chance of your survival in the second option and who knows what you will get in future but ending your life means to give up everything." After some time her father lost his job and now the whole family shifted to Mumbai and Kalpana Saroj became a sole bread earner of the family. But the health condition of her sister became critical and she lost her sister because of a lack of medical facilities. That day Kalpana Saroj decided to eliminate poverty from her life. Kalpana Saroj started preparing to take a loan from the government to start her own business but then she came to know that if she wants to take a 50,000 loan she must spend 10,000 for a bribe. She didn't agree to provide a bribe and started a Yuva Sangathan to sensitize youths about new government schemes. After some time she had successfully taken a loan from the government and started a furniture business. After earning a good amount of money from that business, she started her own beauty parlor and subsequently because of her dedication she became a successful entrepreneur.
She also successfully converted a debt-ridden company Kamani Tubes (116 crore debt and 140 litigation cases) into a profit-making enterprise. She has proved that if you have a vision, will power and the potential to be resourceful then you can turn your dreams into reality. The story of Kalpana Saroj proves that your current situation can be changed anytime by your hard work and strong resolve. Let us all learn from her life and try to follow her path to fight all adversities.
