The belief system of exceptionally influential people: Part 1

The belief system of exceptionally influential people
Introduction

The word "influence" is generally attributed to famous personalities but today we will understand how each one of us influences people around us. You can say a supervisor influences workers working under him, mother or father influences her children, social worker influences community, etc. Every day when we go out then we have a chance to influence others. we can leave a positive impact on others' lives or take other's negative impressions on us. According to Robin Sharma who is also one of the most famous authors, exceptionally influential people have one thing in common. They have a very important philosophy which is common among themselves and that philosophy is " You are as good as your last performance". We cannot just sit over our last performance and say that I had achieved amazing stuff in the past. Most creative and influential people understand this fact and always try to do their best in the present. Champions used to say that last year's best performance is this year's starting point. Let us deconstruct the ideology of exceptionally influential people and understand their five common traits:

Five common traits of exceptionally influential people

1. Comfort breeds stagnation: We must have a fire in our bellies in order to achieve great feats. Highly successful people do not get satisfaction very easily and whenever they think that one of their dreams has come true then immediately they start their journey towards the next goal. Just think if we had got satisfied with our school education then we might not have entered into college and if people become satisfied with their bachelor degrees then who will get the Ph.D. Do not get satisfied easily as satisfaction breeds stagnation. Also many times we used to become a mute spectator of our own stagnant lives but we have to understand that ultimate power resides in us and if we want then we can change anything in this world. We must come out of victim mentality as it is very easy to feel like a victim and do not take any action to change the status quo. If someone thinks that he is from a remote village hence he does not have sufficient resources to change his stagnant life then he is incorrect. No one can stop us to read informative books and plan out life-transforming activities. So take your life's driving gear in your hands and start working to come out of a stagnation loop.
2. Scary Work Wins: Brian Tracy in his most celebrated book "Eat that frog" explains that we must target to complete the most difficult task as soon as possible. Completion of scary or most difficult tasks will definitely make a blue ocean for us as most of the people used to procrastinate over these scary works. It is also said that "Its the most fearful work that creates the greatest opportunity of growth for us". So tighten your boots and be ready to tackle most resisting work first.
