Introduction
To live a fulfilling life, a person needs both wealth and happiness together in his/her life. But most of us struggle with achieving both of these together in our life, and in due course of time, many of us could not find or achieve either. Jim Rohn, an American Business philosopher teaches us the ways to health, wealth, and happiness in his award-winning book, ‘7 Strategies of Wealth and Happiness’. In this book, he directs us to follow a 7 strategies path to wealth and happiness. These are as follows:7 Strategies of Wealth and Happiness by Jim Rohn
1. Unleash The Power Of Goals:It is the first strategy of the 7 strategies for Wealth and Happiness. The goals which are well defined and well described have always a strong pull on you. They drive you, motivate you to become the person or bring you on the path to become that person who is required to achieve those goals. Recognition of your work, feeling like a winner, family, and benevolence are the four greatest motivators in your life. Your personal development also increases your income. We should learn to ask for things that we want. We should also learn what to invest or to work on at a stage in life and when to harvest our fruits of labor. We should always keep in our mind the possibility of not achieving all in our life and being content with it.

2. Seek Knowledge:
The second strategy of the 7 strategies for wealth and happiness is to Seek Knowledge. To get money, we should seek the knowledge of the acquisition of wealth. It can be done in two ways. One is to learn with self-experiences. At the end of the day, we should write our journal or spend some camera time thinking about the good and bad of the day, areas to improvise/work on, new ideas, and planning for the next day. The other way of seeking knowledge is to learn from others’ experiences. This knowledge can be achieved by reading books about the success and failures in businesses, attending seminars, looking at the lives and struggles of successful people, etc.
3. Learn How To Change:
Jim Rohn mentions in his book that the third strategy of the 7 Strategies of Wealth and Happiness is to Learn How to Change. It is advised that we are supposed to work harder on ourselves than we do on our jobs. Stable income is only achieved through personal development. We all have the same limited time, so we should focus on creating more value from that time. We should not hold or limit ourselves back to be successful. Spiritual, physical and mental is the three key areas of our personal development. We should start developing these areas by disciplining ourselves in small areas of our life at a time.
4. Control Your Finances
It is the fourth strategy of the 7 strategies of Wealth and Happiness. We can have more money if we plan our finances well. It is advised that out of your income, 70% of it can be used to live, ten percent to charity as also stated in most of the religions, ten percent should be spent on capital investment and the rest ten percent should be saved. We should always keep a good book of our income and expenses stating our assets and liabilities. This provides us with the net worth of ourselves. It will be our downfall if our expenses are greater than our income.
5. Master Time
There are four types of people based on managing time. The first one is a drifter whose time is unstructured and consequently, their life also gets unstructured. The second is a 9 to 5 person who manages his time around the job. The third type is a workaholic who keeps working all the time but it does not guarantee wealth. The best and fourth type is called the enlightened manager who manages his time well and works smarter. It is advisable to run your day and to not be run by day. The first step in this is we should learn to say, ‘No’.

6. Surround Yourselves With Winners
The sixth strategy of the 7 strategies of Wealth and Happiness given by Jim Rohn in his book suggests that you should surround yourself with Winners. It is commonly said that ‘A man is known by the company he keeps.’ We become like the people who accompany us, so we should choose our company well. If we are not in a good network of people, we should limit our time with them. We should spend our time with the right people as it will help us grow and speed up our progress,
7. Learn The Art Of Living Well
Jim Rohn suggests that the seventh strategy of the 7 strategies of Wealth and Happiness is to learn the art of living well. Each one of us can fill our lives with health, wealth, and happiness by living each and every moment well with whatever we have. We should try to build a healthy lifestyle with the money we have. We should be generous and love our family as well while building our careers. We should learn to master our lifestyle with happiness with the amount of money we have. This will keep our wealth and happiness proportional.
