Unwritten Social Rules We Must Follow

1. Never order an expensive dish from the menu if someone else is giving you a lunch/dinner party. You never know his/her financial condition.
2. Always return borrowed money before the promised time. Don’t give another person a chance to remind you of the return. This shows your character and integrity.
3. Don’t call more than twice and always remember that if another person is not picking up your call then s/he has more important work at hand.
4. Never ask awkward questions like “Why you don’t have your own house ?”, “Ohh are you are still unmarried ?”, “Don’t you have kids ?”, “Why don’t you buy a car?”. Always remember that it’s not our business or problem.

6. If your friend paid for the taxi ride then always try to pay next time. People always appreciate the courtesy.
7. Always give respect to others’ opinions. As you might have seen in a photo where 2 persons were arguing if the same figure is 6 or 9. The second opinion might solve the same problem with less effort.
8. Never interrupt others while they are sharing their thoughts. Let them pour in their point of view and understand their mindset.
9. If you tease someone and it seems that they are not enjoying the act. Stop it immediately as it shows that how much you respect others’ feelings.

11. Praise people in public but criticize them privately. This will help you to make lesser enemies during your life journey.
12. Do not criticize anyone for their obesity. If they want to reduce the weight then they will do it without your criticism.
13. Whenever someone shows you a photograph on his/her mobile then do not try to swipe left or right. This can spoil your relationship with that person.
14. If a colleague tells you that s/he has a doctor's appointment then do not try to ask for the reason. Just say "I hope you are ok" and do not put them in an uncomfortable situation. If s/he wants to disclose the reason then s/he will disclose the reason without asking.
15. Always give the same respect to the housekeeping person as you give to the MD of the company. Nobody will appreciate you for being rude with people of lower strata but people will definitely notice you for being respectful towards others.

17. Never ever give advice to someone until you are asked to do so
18. Do not disrespect other people by asking their age and salary especially when you meet them after a long time
People are going to behave however the social norms permit, and beyond that Max Cannon
