Introduction Many people believe that the loudest voice in the room automatically becomes the most influential. They assume that speaking more, talking faster, or dominating conversations will earn respect and recognition. However, if we study some of history's most respected leaders, we discover a different reality. True influence rarely comes from volume. It comes from clarity. She was so poor that her mother can’t even afford a dress for her daughter and Oprah used to wear Empty Potato Sack dresses. She was a child rap victim and suffered so many hardships. She got pregnant at the age of 14. We can't imagine what type of trauma she had faced in her childhood. After her newborn child died immediately after birth, her stepfather told her that this is her second chance. She came out of trauma and joined her college again. She excelled in her studies and got a chance to work as a part-time news anchor because of her excellent oratory skills. After working as a news anchor for 3 years, she was hired as a full-time anchor in WLAC TV where she had become the youngest news anchor and first black anchor in the history of that media company. After completing her graduation, she moved to Baltimore where she joined a television company as a news reporter but shortly she was knocked out of the program.
