Book Review: AI for Absolute Beginners by Anne Hansen

Introduction Artificial Intelligence has become one of the most talked-about technologies of our time. Yet, for many people, AI still feels intimidating, overly technical, or simply too complicated to understand. AI for Absolute Beginners by Anne Hansen successfully bridges this gap by transforming a complex subject into an approachable learning experience designed for everyday people rather than technology experts.  Unlike many AI books that focus heavily on programming concepts or advanced technical discussions, Hansen takes a refreshingly practical approach. She assumes no prior knowledge and patiently walks readers through the fundamentals before gradually introducing real-world applications. The result is a book that feels more like learning from an encouraging mentor than reading a technical manual. One of the book's greatest strengths is its central philosophy: you don't need to become an AI expert—you simply need to learn how to use AI effectively. This mindset remov...

Move out of comfort zone to effort zone

neale Donald Walsch
An interesting incident happened on the day Abraham Lincoln took office as a president of America. When he was about to give his first speech, an Aristocratic gentleman stood up and told Lincoln do not forget that your father used to make shoes for our family. The whole senate started laughing at Lincoln. He thought that he had made a fool of Abraham Lincoln. But the Lincoln was unfazed, he looked at this man and told him that he is very proud that his father made shoes for his family and of many other families. I am very happy to say that when my father made a shoe for anyone he makes sure that he put his life and soul into his creation. If anyone of you has any complaint regarding his work then let me know as I am also trained in shoemaking.
Sitting Abraham Lincoln

Life really begins when we come out of our comfort zone and enter into the effort zone. Nobody can hurt us without our consent. Let us read a sloka from Bhagwad Gita (17.15):
Gitaanudvega-karam vakyam
satyam priya-hitam ca yat
svadhyayabhyasanam caiva
van-mayam tapa ucyate
Mahabharata
The power of speech is such that austerity of speech consists of speaking words that do not hurt others. The words must be told in such a way that those are pleasant to the ears of a listener. Lincoln knows this fact and hence transformed the poison of the Aristocrat into nectar. When we take different leadership roles then we must not think that people will come to us with garlands in their hands. some people will try to find faults in our working style, some will try to question us and some may try to insult us but ultimately it's our attitude and response toward any situation which defines the final conclusion of any event. So we do not have control over the event but we do have control over the response to that event. We must learn from this beautiful incident and must also know that whenever things go wrong at that time we must not become agitated but must try to transform the result of that event with our power of speech and presence of mind.
In Paulo Coelho’s most popular book The Alchemist, the young shepherd boy Santiago undertakes a quest around the world in order to find treasure. Ultimately as he draws to the end of his journey, he discovers his treasure was right where he started. He recognizes his quest across the world filled him with wisdom and a great deal of knowledge owing to the people he meets along the way. His journey has not been a waste of time, for he has gained much from his experience in search of treasure.
I wish to remind you that contained within every effort, every step, and every so-called failure draws you closer to your treasure — your pot of gold. Nothing is wasted. No effort has been in vain.

Why Greek Athletes Imagined Losing Before They Won

Introduction Fear has stopped more dreams than failure ever has. Many people believe they struggle because they lack talent, resources, intelligence, or opportunity. In reality, the biggest obstacle is often much simpler: fear. Fear of failure. Fear of rejection. Fear of embarrassment. Fear of not being good enough. These fears silently influence decisions every day. They prevent people from speaking up in meetings, starting businesses, applying for promotions, pursuing relationships, or taking risks that could transform their lives. What is fascinating is that thousands of years ago, long before psychology textbooks and neuroscience laboratories existed, ancient Greek athletes had already discovered a powerful method for dealing with fear. Instead of trying to avoid failure, they mentally embraced it. This practice, known as prokatalepsis , was a form of mental preparation that helped athletes free themselves from the emotional grip of fear and perform at their highest level. Today, m...
