Extreme Motivation: Life of Theodore Roosevelt

Theodore Roosevelt Walking
Great people are not born but they make their life great. Similarly many times we also get a chance to prove ourselves but we step back and think we are not capable enough. We must remember here that great people also were like us but they decided to take their life in their hands and had given their best. Today we will read more about the youngest ever president of the US, a recipient of Medal of Honour and a winner of Nobel Peace Prize. He had written more than 30 books during his life. He was also America’s first brown belt in judo. He’s none other than Mr. Theodore Roosevelt. Let’s read more about his inspirational life and how he had achieved so much.
He was born on October 27, 1858, and since childhood, he was very weak and never went to school due to medical problems and hence he had done homeschooling. His father was worried about his son’s future. Subsequently, Theodore Roosevelt started going to his father's personal gym regularly and made his body fit. After his continuous hard work, he got admitted into Harvard College but there he was not an exceptional student. His professors termed him as an eccentric person. He used to get F grades in the college. He lost his spouse and mother on the same day. This has devastated the life of Theodore Roosevelt. At this point, he might have blamed the god and never tried anything else.
Failure and Success optionBut he never accepted these setbacks and lifted himself up.
He printed his first book “The Naval war of 1812”, this book established him as a serious historian. He also joined the Republican Party and was elected as a member of the New York State Assembly. In 1985, he was selected as a Police commissioner of New York City and fought against corruption which made him popular among citizens. After 2 years, he joined Navy as Assistant Secretary and there he won "Medal of honor" (the United States of America's highest and most prestigious personal military decoration). After winning the medal he became the Governor of New York City. He became the President of the US at the age of 1901 and became famous for his progressive policies.
Race winner
He had faced so many failures and setbacks in his life. He was born with several diseases, not attended regular schooling, got the worst grades in college and lost his mother and wife at a very early age. He had so many excuses that he might have lived an oblivion life but he had taken control of his life without thinking about his circumstances. Similarly, we also face so many challenges in our life and start getting disappointed. At that point in time, we must take inspiration from the life of Theodore Roosevelt and pull ourselves up. Also many times we used to compare ourselves with others but we must understand that we must compete with ourselves. We must understand "Why we must run our own race", every individual is unique and has unlimited potential.
Hope this will help.
