Five Key learnings from SpongeBob SquarePants

Five Key learnings from SpongeBob SquarePants

INTRODUCTION

When SpongeBob SquarePants season 1 was first aired on 1 May 1999, nobody had predicted that it will run for more than two decades. This cartoon series has entertained several generations of kids and adults. SpongeBob SquarePants has a very infectious and annoying personality but we can learn several things from his personality. We will discuss five key lessons that we can learn from Stephen Hillenburg's SpongeBob SquarePants and which can be implemented in our professional or student life.

BE THE ETERNAL OPTIMIST

We can fail 100 times in our life but we must bounce back again for 101 times in order to accomplish our targets. Once a reporter asked Thomas Alva Edison that you had failed One thousand times before the invention of the light bulb but what kept you motivated? On this Edison answered that I had not failed one thousand times but I learned one thousand ways that won't work. That kind of spirit is required to achieve greater heights in our life. SpongeBob SquarePants always used to see best in any kind of situation. SpongeBob SquarePants always look for the best and that is the reason he used to get the best results.
SpongeBob: Isn’t this awesome Squidward? It’s just the three of us. You, me, and this wall, you built between us.
Such kind of optimism is required in all of us.

VALUE PEOPLE

SpongeBob SquarePants used to love all citizens of Bikini Bottom and even Squidward Tentacles who used to annoy him. He knows the true meaning of friendship and how to sustain it.
Squidward: Why are you standing so close to me? You’re making me claustrophobic!
Patrick: What is the meaning of claustrophobia?
Spongebob: I think it means he’s afraid of Santa Claus.
Patrick: Ha, Ha, Ha!
Spongebob: Stop it, Patrick! You’re scaring him!
SpongeBob SquarePants always respect the difference of opinion and that's why he was a star for all of us.

BE AN ORIGINAL

Matshona Dhliwayo once said, “A rose would be miserable if it was forced to be a daisy, no matter how much water it was fed.” Yes, SpongeBob SquarePants is one of a kind but he never felt ashamed of it.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Squidward… I used your clarinet to unclog my toilet!

LAUGH AND HAVE FUN

We can never be happy by hurting others and SpongeBob SquarePants never hurt others. He used to remain happy in the moments of adversity and joy. We cannot afford to be sad and successful at the same time. We have to understand that life is just like a celebration and we are here for a very limited time period.

MAKE YOUR OWN HAPPINESS

Many people used to search for happiness in other things but we must understand that happiness is just a state of mind. We can remain happy in difficult situations also. If we never find happiness then we can create it by amusing our family members or friends.

CONCLUSION

Stephen Hillenburg created SpongeBob SquarePants two decades back but still, we can learn so many things from this chivalrous cartoon character. Other Spongebob SquarePants characters are also very inspirational. Can you list down key learnings from other Spongebob SquarePants characters?
