Book Review: AI for Absolute Beginners by Anne Hansen

Introduction Artificial Intelligence has become one of the most talked-about technologies of our time. Yet, for many people, AI still feels intimidating, overly technical, or simply too complicated to understand. AI for Absolute Beginners by Anne Hansen successfully bridges this gap by transforming a complex subject into an approachable learning experience designed for everyday people rather than technology experts.  Unlike many AI books that focus heavily on programming concepts or advanced technical discussions, Hansen takes a refreshingly practical approach. She assumes no prior knowledge and patiently walks readers through the fundamentals before gradually introducing real-world applications. The result is a book that feels more like learning from an encouraging mentor than reading a technical manual. One of the book's greatest strengths is its central philosophy: you don't need to become an AI expert—you simply need to learn how to use AI effectively. This mindset remov...

Learnings from Dil Bechara: Sushant Singh Rajput

Introduction

Sushant Singh Rajput's last film Dil Bechara was digitally released over Hotstar on 24 July 2020. This is one of the most awaited movies of 2020. Dil Bechara is based on American Writer John Green’s wildly popular novel, The Fault in Our Stars. This movie is full of powerful life lessons and centered around three main characters. All three main characters are nearing towards death and we can understand the importance of our life when we see this movie. Sushant Singh Rajput's character is Immanuel Rajkumar Junior or Manny, who has previously suffered from osteosarcoma and is in remission, Kizie Basu is fighting thyroid cancer and JP is suffering from glaucoma. We expected many more movies from Sushant Singh Rajput but this is his final one. Let us discuss three main learnings from Dil Bechara movie.

Three learnings from Dil Bechara

1. Go with the flow of life: There are two ways of living life, the first is to set your life goals and start taking actions to achieve those goals without looking at other things. The second way is just to go with the flow of life. Many times our extreme planning can become a reason for our failure and sometimes it is better to just go with the flow of life. Life can give us amazing experiences when we go with its flow. In scriptures, we see an example of Hiranyakashipu who performed extreme penances and asked for immortality from Lord Brahma but when Brahma denied for such blessing then he planned very meticulously and asked for another blessing. He asked that " Grant me that I do not die within any residence or outside any residence, during the daytime or at night, nor on the ground or in the sky. He thought that such death is impossible yet Lord Narsingh came to earth and killed that demon. In this movie, Immanuel Rajkumar Junior or Manny can be seen flowing with life. He does not have big plans but he wants to bring happiness to his friend's life. He worked for the dream of his friend and recorded full Rajnikanth's movie.

2. Be happy as life is temporary: All three characters of this movie are struggling for their lives. When we see this movie then we can feel that life is very short and we used to get entangled in very small things. Our shortsightedness used to ruin our relations with our loved ones. Just take an aerial view of your life and you will find more reasons to feel joyful.
3. Disappointments are a part of life: Kizie Basu wanted to know why Abhimanyu veer had left his song incomplete. She traced Abhimanyu but he does not disclose the actual reason and behaved like a stupid man. During the whole film, we expect that Kizie Basu may die anytime but when Sushant Singh Rajput's character Manny succumbed to his suffering then we also get disappointed. But we must understand that life will throw lemons on us but it is up to us whether we can make lemonade out of it or not.

Conclusion

Why Greek Athletes Imagined Losing Before They Won

Introduction Fear has stopped more dreams than failure ever has. Many people believe they struggle because they lack talent, resources, intelligence, or opportunity. In reality, the biggest obstacle is often much simpler: fear. Fear of failure. Fear of rejection. Fear of embarrassment. Fear of not being good enough. These fears silently influence decisions every day. They prevent people from speaking up in meetings, starting businesses, applying for promotions, pursuing relationships, or taking risks that could transform their lives. What is fascinating is that thousands of years ago, long before psychology textbooks and neuroscience laboratories existed, ancient Greek athletes had already discovered a powerful method for dealing with fear. Instead of trying to avoid failure, they mentally embraced it. This practice, known as prokatalepsis , was a form of mental preparation that helped athletes free themselves from the emotional grip of fear and perform at their highest level. Today, m...
